“Peter Lehmann Wines keeping South Australia in the Semillon Race”

03rd July 2020 | Written by client

Peter Lehmann Wines is doing an excellent job of keeping South Australia in the Semillon race. They achieved great results at the recent Winewise Championships for the Margaret Semillon from the 2012, 2017, and 2019 vintages.

The competition invites all gold medal-winning wines from regional wine shows around Australia and the National Wine Show to enter the blind tasting by a panel of judges. See below for the full review of each wine.

2012 Peter Lehmann Margaret Barossa Valley Semillon  It’s rich, mature, lemony and still in good form. A most enjoyable drink. ($35.00)

★★★★☆

2017 Peter Lehmann Margaret Barossa Valley Semillon  A rich semillon with tropical fruit overtones and good supporting acidity. Enjoyable drinking. (Not available)
★★★★

2019 Peter Lehmann Margaret Barossa Valley Semillon
Full-flavoured, lively and lemony. A clean, rich varietal style with balanced acidity. (Not available)
